The importance of eyes in daily activities!

Do our eyes play an important role in our daily life?

For no doubt, eyes are needed for every activities in our daily routine.

Lets further discuss about the common eyes symptoms most of us facing nowadays.

• Age Related Macular Degeneration (AMD) symptom

What is AMD?

AMD is a chronic disease which lead to vision loss among people of age 50 or older. It is a disease that causes the gradual loss of sight due to blurring or loss of central vision. This is often as a result of deterioration of the macula. The severity of the disease depends on each person and on how quickly it is detected.

*Early detection is important to potentially stop the spread of the disease and to protect your sight.

• Dryness symptom

A very common symptom occurs when the eyes do not make enough tears or the tears evaporate too quickly. This leads to the eyes drying out and becoming red, swollen and irritated.

• Presbyopia symptom

Also, you will experience poor vision when driving due to the intermittent brightness of headlights and streetlights on the road.

Although the term 'night blindness' implies that you can't see at night, this isn't the case. You may just have more difficulty seeing or driving in darkness.

A number of eye conditions can cause night blindness, including:

• shortsighted or blurred vision when looking at faraway objects
• cataracts or clouding of the eye's lens
• retintis pigmentosa, which occurs when dark pigment collects in your retina and creates tunnel vision

防晒霜的PA值和SPF值分别代表什么？

防晒霜的PA值和SPF值有何作用？

防晒是通过一些方式来减少或避免紫外线中的UVA及UVB对皮肤的伤害。

选择防晒霜是关键的第一步。

首先要学会识读一些防晒品特有的语言：

1. SPF

SPF值是众所周知的防晒指数。

4～8为中级防晒效果，8～12为高级防晒效果，12～20为高强级防晒效果，大于20则为超强级防晒效果。

SPF值后面的系数是指紫外线照对皮肤的照射不致伤害的一个时间范围，通常以20分钟为标准，比如SPF8相当于可以防晒160分钟。

2. PA

PA值是表示产品阻挡阳光中UVA长波的指数。

市场上也有一些产品中含有PA系数。

UVA对皮肤的损伤是长期而慢性的，导致皮肤被晒黑。

PA的系数是以“+”来表示的。一般PA+表示低效防护；PA++是中效防护；

PA+++是高效防护。也有产品是以UVA来表示防晒黑系数的，如UVA12，数字值越高就表示越不易被晒黑。

简单说来，吸收紫外线的制剂分为防晒伤与防晒黑两种，SPF值代表防晒伤指数，抵抗UVB；PA值代表防晒黑，抵抗UVA。

使用含有SPF值的防晒产品可以帮助有效防晒，如果想既防晒又不致晒黑，最好选择同时含有SPF和PA两种系数的防晒产品。
